Other Third Parties and Cookies
Google Analytics: Google Analytics is a tracking service which allows us to understand and analyze how visitors use our website. It uses cookies to collect information such as pageviews, referring websites, and time spent on the site. You can find out more about the cookies that google uses to measure user interactions.
Affiliate networks: Posts on our website may contain links to third party websites. Affiliate networks use tracking cookies in order to track the referral from our website. These may last for varying duration, depending on the network. For more information on affiliate links on our website see our affiliate disclosure.
Email newsletter: This website uses an email subscription service. The name (if provided) and email address you use to sign up to receive email are stored for the purpose of sending future emails. All emails sent through our subscription service may contain tracking pixels and other tracking technology. These are embedded in emails and allow the measurement and analysis of the success of online marketing campaigns. Because of these tracking technologies, we may see if and when you open an email and which links within the email you click.
In addition to your name and email address, your IP address at the time of signing up may be used to verify the authenticity of the Opt-in to our email subscription service by our subscription service provider.
Flodesk is our email service provider and for more details, view their privacy policy.
Grow.me by Mediavine: Grow.me is a widget used to bookmark and share blog posts and other web pages across websites. It is also used to collect first party data and serve personalised ads. If you use grow.me you also agree to their terms of service. Here is their privacy policy.
We also use grow.me for signup forms to our email newsletter. When you sign up, your name (if provided), email address and IP address are collected and transferred to us, so that we can add you to our email subscriber list.
WP Recipe Maker: We use this plugin to create a recipe card in our posts. Bootstrapped Ventures, the developer of WP Recipe Maker, does not have access to any of the data collected by the plugin. Comment ratings are enabled and we store the rating a user has given to a recipe along with the personal data WordPress core stores. When user ratings are enabled we store a WPRM_User_Voted_%recipe% cookie (with %recipe% the ID of the recipe) that contains the rating this user has given to a particular recipe. This cookie is used as one of the measures to prevent rating spam. When user ratings are enabled we store the IP address upon voting. This is used as another of the measures to prevent rating spam. WP Recipe maker cookies are stored for 30 days.
